Enlightened Awareness: Biogime, Biozhem, Revitacel: Imitating the Metrin Skincare System

What Was ‘Biogime’?

One major source of imitation was Biogime (which later spawned “Biozhem”, which was subsequently acquired by Revitacel). As you might know, Biogime was once, long ago, an official authorized distributor of METRIN products in the US until they lost their distribution rights in the early 1990s. 

They then created similar products under the Biogime name and sold it to existing customers as the “new” Metrin. They told their customers that Metrin no longer existed and marketed their own products  basically imitating Metrin Skincare’s beloved products.

What is Revitacel? 

Revitacel is a company that acquired and distributes the Biozhem skin care products – the offshoot imitation of Biogime.
